Everything a private school runs on — from the gate in the morning to the dëftesa in June — connected to PowerSchool and QuickBooks, and to parents on their phones.
Staffvelo for schools puts students, staff and parents in one system. Students tap a card at the gate and parents are told; the timetable places every lesson; final grades come in from PowerSchool and print as the MASHT dëftesa; the canteen, the vans and the fees all run on the same student record — and teachers' leave, the school calendar and payroll sit next to it.
Each student has a card (NFC or QR). A tap at the gate records the arrival and the time, parents get a notification, and the class teacher sees who is in. Students who haven't arrived and have no absence reported are flagged a set time after school starts, so the office can call home.
Yes. Add subjects, teachers, rooms and classes, and the timetable places every lesson without clashes. When a teacher is off, the cover screen shows who is free that period. Teachers and parents see the published timetable in the app.
Final grades are read from PowerSchool (or typed in), converted to the Kosovo 1–5 scale and checked against MASHT's assessment rules. Each dëftesa is numbered, kept exactly as printed, and prints on plain A4 or onto the official pre-printed form. The same student file also issues the fletëkalim and other student documents.
An app on their phone: arrivals and the school van on a live map, the card balance and top-ups, lunch orders, messages and permission slips — and, when the school switches them on, grades, homework, the timetable, the calendar and fees. Parents only ever see their own children.
The same card pays at the canteen till. Parents top up online, set daily limits and pre-order lunch; the till checks allergies and the balance. The school sees sales and every transaction.
Yes. The driver uses the Staffvelo app: tap the card as each student gets on and off, and start the route. Parents of children on that van see it on a map until the route ends. The office sees every van on the road.
Yes. A small read-only plugin brings students, parents, grades, absences and homework from PowerSchool every night; tuition, payments and families come from QuickBooks. Staffvelo never writes back to QuickBooks.
Teachers request leave against the school calendar (campus closed, students off, teachers' holidays), HR keeps contracts, documents and training, and payroll runs for Kosovo with the ATK EDI file — the same HR system companies use.
No. It's built in Kosovo with the MASHT dëftesa, but the gate, cards, canteen, vans, timetable and parent app work for any private school. Payroll is built in for Kosovo, the UK and Ireland.
No. Grades and students can be typed in or imported from a spreadsheet. If you use PowerSchool, Staffvelo reads from it every night.
School documents — the dëftesa, the fletëkalim, certificates — are in Albanian, as MASHT requires. The app itself is in English today; tell us if your staff or parents need it in Albanian.
No card, no sales call. Your workspace is live in under a minute.
